Jr Cultivator - Cannabis

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Junior Cultivator to join our team at Tempter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of plant care techniques. This role involves working in a greenhouse environments to ensure the healthy growth and cultivation of cannabis plants. The Cannabis Cultivator will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and yield of our crops while adhering to industry regulations.

Duties
- Cultivate cannabis plants by performing tasks such as planting, watering, and fertilizing.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal moisture levels for plant health.
- Conduct regular inspections of plants to monitor growth, identify pests, and assess overall health.
- Collect data on plant growth and environmental conditions to inform cultivation practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the growing areas, including greenhouses and outdoor fields.
- Utilize knowledge of plant identification to manage various strains effectively.
- Assist in landscape management and lawn care as needed to support the cultivation environment.
- Collaborate with team members to implement best practices for sustainable farming.

Experience
- Previous experience in farming, gardening, or landscape management is preferred.
- Familiarity with data collection methods related to agricultural practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques for effective water management.
- Experience working in outdoor environments and greenhouses is beneficial.
- A strong understanding of plant care, including pest management and nutrient application.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cannabis cultivation or related field

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
