Description
The Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Data & Reporting Analyst will be focused on providing analytic support across internal tools and databases, specifically, extracting data from numerous data sources: analyzing data, interpreting information, trends and communicating insights to enable decision making around key strategic controls.
Essential Job Functions
Data Analysis and Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams e.g., our client, vendor partners, and the EVV team to gather and maintain business reporting requirements.
- Document business/reporting requirements using a standardized requirements traceability matrix or similar business requirements document.
- Adhere to SOC controls/policies related to change management and vendor management.
- Identify and source data systems and develop, and/or update, new reporting solutions to meet the requirements and ensure insights are provided using key data points.
- Develop interactive dashboards using PowerBI to drive efficiency and significantly improve the visual analysis of the data used by a range of key stakeholders.
- In partnership with our client and vendor, develop solutions for ensuring the data aggregator. project meets CMS requirements and provides accurate and timely EVV reporting.
- Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data for reports developed by Tempus and our vendor partners.
Reporting Operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
- Use data mining techniques to consolidate and analyze information from available data sources to support process optimization and automation modelling.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to policies regarding PII, PHI and HIPPA for data security.
- Ensure adherence to SOC related controls/policies for data security.
- With support from cross-functional teams, run a range of weekly and monthly reports from multiple sources to provide to a range of stakeholders. Distribute reports to necessary parties, using secure methods for third parties.
- Ensure dashboard contains accurate and timely data by extracting data from different sources using parameters and calculations and distributing the dashboard on schedule.
- Ensure CMS reports are produced by HHAeXchange and delivered to our client per agreed schedule.
- Maintain standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards with insights, scorecards, and metrics that drive change in the business which are tailored in level of detail for the appropriate stakeholders.
- Participate in on-going meetings with our Call Center to analyze call volume and customer feedback.
Reporting Analysis and Communication
- Monitor data to identify changes in program trends.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
- Analyze and make required updates to the return data from the agencies.
- Ensuring data quality and reliability and providing feedback to business process owners and to the IT department.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary to answer business questions and drive decisions.
Requirements
Competencies
- Knowledge of suitable data analytic processes.
- Proven experience creating data-driven knowledge that increases efficiency and achieves the desired business results.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Advanced proficiency, and knowledge of statistics, using statistical packages for creating pivot tables, graphs and charts to support the analysis of datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
- Knowledge and experience with database design and data warehousing principles (SQL etc).
- Strong troubleshooting and report writing abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage changes in requirements and timelines.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Capacity to train staff in foundational data entry techniques.

Required Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- Knowledge of any relevant regulatory standards or compliance requirements
