Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities to promote independence and well-being.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure health and safety standards are met.
- Administer medications as prescribed while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Provide support in group home settings and assist with transitions to assisted living when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living environment for client safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Document all interactions and care provided accurately for compliance and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Experience in senior care or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Ability to monitor vital signs and recognize changes in client health status.
- Compassionate approach towards assisting individuals with disabilities.
