The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a Banquet Manager to join our team at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As the Banquet Manager, you will partner with the Food and Beverage manager to ensure all event operations at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite run efficiently to create memorable experiences for guests.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $68,640 – $73,700 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?
- Oversee training, scheduling, and supervising of team members from the banquet department
- Assists in the set up of all banquet acitivities as requested on the banquet event orders
- Prepare operational reports including daily sales and accounts receivable reports
- Monitor food and beverage orders, keep records of purchases, requisitions, and liquor logs
- Monitor customer service feedback and develop standards of service that are shared with the banquet team
- Assist with menu pricing strategies for optimizing cost and control
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships
- Required to drive company vehicles on property and for events.
More about you
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospitality environment
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in Banquet Operations at a Hotel, Resort, or Casino
- No college degree required
- Knowledge of food preparation, inventory, and cost control measures
- Excellent verbal communication and supervisory skills
- Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on the analysis
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
