The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring part-time Banquet Servers to join our team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As a Banquet Server you will provide outstanding customer service while serving food and beverage products in a banquet setting, ensuring that Tenaya Lodge guests’ needs are being met in a positive, efficient, and courteous manner.The ideal Banquet Server candidate will be friendly, positive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

What will you do?
- Performs necessary tasks to service guests including: taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing of dirty dishes
- Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
- Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints
- Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow team members
- Perform job duties of a busser, runner, server, bartender, or support the event set-up team members if necessary.
- Serve food to event guests, and attends to guests’ needs throughout the event
More about you
- Must be 18 or older

Minimum of 6 months’ previous experience in food and beverage service required
Minimum of 3 months previous experience in Banquet/ Catering operations preferred.
- Excellent guest service skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly
- No high school diploma or GED required
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for entire length of shift
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Mobility to maneuver between tables
