What The Role Entails

• Community Management: Take charge of managing the Discord community initially, focusing on player recruitment and organizing events. There are plans to expand community operations to other platforms such as X and Reddit.
• Discord Community Engagement:
• Assist in moderating community forums to ensure a positive and respectful environment for all members, while enforcing community guidelines and rules.
• Promptly address player feedback and issues to maintain high levels of community satisfaction.
• Actively attract and engage new members to join and participate in Discord events.
• User Recruitment and Promotion:
• Leverage existing resources such as esports clubs, player communities, and social media to draw more users to the Discord community.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with external communities and organizations through effective communication and coordination.
• Assist in crafting and implementing user recruitment strategies, and regularly track growth metrics.
• Community Event Planning:
• Support the planning and execution of engaging community events, including tournaments, Q&A sessions, and live streams, to boost participation.
• Analyze event data to refine future activities and enhance player engagement.
  
  

Who We Look For

• Proficiency in Discord: Deep understanding of Discord and its functionalities, including effective use of tools and bots. Strong operational skills across other gaming community platforms are also essential.
• Community Resources: Strong connections with community resources such as esports clubs and online groups, or the ability to quickly establish channels for user acquisition.
• Communication and Coordination: Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse teams and players.
• Passion for Gaming: A genuine passion for gaming, coupled with a deep understanding of community culture and dynamics.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English for both written and verbal communication. Proficiency in additional languages such as Portuguese, Japanese, or French is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in community operations or event planning is highly advantageous.
  
  

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $18.0 to $29.43 per hour. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
