Tencom is a manufacturer of standard and customized pultruded shapes. these items are used in a large variety of environments and applications including making poles, flagpoles, tool handles tent poles, cable reinforcements, fabric reinforcements and many others. tencom also does secondary operations like drilling, grinding and sanding.
Job Description: Maintenance Technician
Tencom is looking for an entry-level maintenance technician with good mechanical abilities and basic knowledge of mechanical systems. Position requires an independent work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Lead in the assembly clean and inspection of production tooling. Assist in the repair and maintenance of factory production equipment including air, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Equipment is for the production of fiberglass pultruded parts and has the same basic components as plastic injection molding equipment.
The ideal candidate would have the following:
Successful safety record
High school diploma or GED plus some technical training
Some experience with maintenance of injection molding or similar equipment
Some knowledge of machining, hydraulics, electronics (PLC), pneumatics and schematics.
Good interpersonal skills.
Physical requirements:
Operate power equipment
stand a minimum of 8 hours per day, and are able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must have 20/40 correctable vision and be able to distinguish colors
Ability to operate production equipment

This is a full time day shift hourly position with benefits. Hourly rate range is $20 to $262 per hour depending on experience.
