Description:
Are you a dependable, hardworking individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Tender Lawn Care is seeking a full time Mowing Crew Lead who takes pride in delivering top notch lawn care services while guiding and contributing to the success of our Mowing Crew team members.
Schedule:
7:30 am to 5:30 pm, some Saturdays and overtime as required
Job Duties:
- Operate commercial Zero Turn mowers according to company specification for cut and height
- Perform string trimming and edging at job sites
- Utilize backpack blowers to clean surfaces after mowing and trimming is complete
- Transport equipment using a Tender Lawn Care truck and trailer
- Work in a safe, efficient, and timely manner
- May work alone or oversee one Crew Member; this is a working Crew Leader position
- Ensure each jobsite is completed to site specification and Tender Lawn Care’s quality expectations
- Give directions and assign work at jobsites
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and an eye for excellence
- Ability to be on time and stay until the day’s work is complete
- Previous commercial mowing experience is a plus, but not required
- Valid Drivers License
- Must have 2 years working in a mowing capacity for a commercial lawncare company
- Ability to manage workload and work independently
- Must be able to communicate with others in an effective and positive way
- Possess an open mind towards learning and taking direction; we do things differently at Tender Lawn Care
- Ability to teach and mentor if working with a Crew Member; our Crew Leaders are building future Crew Leaders
Physical requirements:
- Stand, bend and kneel for extended periods of time
- Lift a minimum of 50 pounds often
- Work extended hours
- Work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Work in suboptimal weather conditions
