About the Role
As a Psychiatric Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients, including individual and group counseling sessions, crisis intervention, and medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients, focusing on evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Document patient progress and outcomes, contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a clinical setting.
