We are currently seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager at our skilled nursing facility for veterans in Cleveland, Tennessee.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Dietary Manager will support our dietary department in ensuring the provision of high-quality food services to our residents. The Assistant Dietary Manager will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with dietary regulations and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES, include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Dietary Manager in planning and supervising food preparation and cooking activities
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Help train and supervise dietary staff members
- Collaborate with the dietary team to create nutritious and appealing menu options
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in a food service setting, preferably in a healthcare facility
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Certification in food service management or a related field is a plus
