We are currently hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for our skilled nursing facility for veterans in Cleveland, Tennessee.
The primary function of the DON is to coordinate Nursing Services in accordance with Tennessee State Veterans Home Board polices and applicable state and federal laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The DON is responsible for the overall clinical services provided 24-hours a day, seven days per week.
Candidate should have at least two (2) years of leadership experience in Long Term Care.

- Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; advises for additional resources
- Attendance/Punctuality - Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time
- Dependability - Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan
- Professionalism - Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; accepts responsibility for own actions
