Job Summary
Reporting to the RCAM Operations Director, the Machine Shop Coordinator & Apprenticeship Instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering standardized lab content to support industrial training programs in a hands-on lab environment.
Job Duties
- Develop and deliver industrial lab training content to stake holders.
- Serve as subject matter expert for development of advanced manufacturing program and Machine Tool Apprenticeship.
- Facilitate improvement in process effectiveness and efficiency.
- Adhere to RCAM Schedule and closure which may differ from other Northeast State schedules and closures
- Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.
- Experience in an industrial setting or other relevant qualifying experience as approved by the RCAM Operations Director.
- Experience in Mastercam for CNC machine programming.
- Craft qualified at the journey level commensurate with teaching assignments
- Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated expertise in Manufacturing
- Conversational ability or fluency in a second language
- Technology Skills: MS Office suite; videoconferencing software; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems
- Ability to make sound decisions with limited supervision
- Ability to learn and apply new technology in the lab environment
- Ability to coordinate and deliver online curriculum
