What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Specialist position at Tennessee Community Services Agency?
TNCSA is a provider of Independent Support Coordination (ISC) services for the Department of Disability and Aging (DDA). The Independent Support Coordination Program assists individuals with intellectual and developmental delays to live as independently as possible within their communities through the provision of community-based services. The caseload for this position will be primarily working with clients of Katie Beckett program, which helps kids in Tennessee with disabilities and complex medical needs under the age of 18.

**must live in the Memphis/Shelby County TN area in the event a face to face visit is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Case management services for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities,
- Conduct meetings, writing individual support plans and submitting those plans to DDA in order to request services,
- Monthly monitoring of services and completion of vital paperwork.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree – Preferred field social work, psychology, sociology or related field.
- One to two years of work-related experience.
- ISC or DDA experience and/or certification a plus. Knowledge of Katie Beckett Waiver Program is also a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required. Must have reliable transportation and current automobile insurance.
- Must authorize the release of any investigative and criminal records obtained by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to the Tennessee Community Services Agency.
