Tennessee Distilling, Ltd. is seeking a full-time TTB and Alternating Proprietorship Specialist to join our team in Columbia, TN. This accounting position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal and state excise tax regulations, conducting audits, and enhancing internal financial processes.
This is a full-time, Monday - Friday position based at our Columbia, TN facility. This financial role requires a consistent schedule to meet regulatory deadlines and collaborate with internal teams effectively.

As a TTB and AP Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting federal and state excise tax payments, ensuring compliance with all TTB reporting requirements. You will audit production and shipping records, identify compliance gaps, and implement process improvements. Collaborating with various departments, including Plant Management and Sales, you will assist in training personnel on updated regulatory procedures and best practices. Additionally, you will stay informed on evolving regulations and apply changes to internal processes to maintain compliance. Your ability to analyze financial data, identify risks, and recommend solutions will be essential in maintaining the company's operational integrity.
Requirements for a TTB and Alternating Proprietorship Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
- Knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations (Title 27
- Accounting experience, especially in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
Ability to review audits and improve processes
- A minimum of 3 years working with TTB and Alternating Proprietorship reporting in beer, wine, or spirts
