Gallatin, TN | Located northeast of Nashville in the rapidly growing city of Gallatin, Tennessee, Tennessee Grasslands (TNG) offers a fully private golf and country club experience in a beautiful lakefront setting. The Club boasts two clubhouses featuring multiple private dining outlets, a full-service event center, two lakeside pools, two Bill Bergin-designed 18-hole championship golf courses, a 9-hole short course, a five-bay teaching facility, two fitness facilities, and a racquet sports complex with year-round access.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Title: Social Media Coordinator / Digital Content Creator

Reports to: Communication Coordinator

Compensation: Hourly rate to commensurate with experience

Type: Full-time

Shift: flexibility required - days/nights/weekends/holidays depending on member events


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Grasslands Club is seeking a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator / Digital Content Creator to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing engaging digital content across all social media platforms, ensuring that the club's online presence reflects our brand values and engages both current and potential members. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent content creation skills, and a passion for community engagement.


  • Content Creation & Management:
    Develop and curate original content (photos, videos, graphics, and written posts) for Grasslands Club's social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Ensure all content aligns with the club's voice, brand identity, and objectives.
  • Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that increases engagement, drives membership inquiries, and promotes club events.
  • Community Engagement: Actively interact with members, prospects, and followers on social media by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Foster positive online relationships with the community.
  • Content Calendar: Maintain a monthly content calendar to ensure consistent posting of club events, promotions, seasonal activities, and member highlights.
  • Photography & Videography: Capture high-quality images and videos of club events, daily activities, and special initiatives, showcasing Grasslands Club's offerings and unique atmosphere.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor social media performance, track key metrics like engagement, reach, and growth, and provide regular reports to the marketing team. Make recommendations for optimizing content and strategy.
  • Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with event coordinators, membership services, and other departments to promote club events, new membership opportunities, and special initiatives.
  • Stay Updated on Trends: Stay informed about the latest social media trends, digital marketing techniques, and content creation best practices to keep Grasslands Club ahead of the curve in online engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media management, digital content creation, or a related field (experience in hospitality, luxury, or country club industries is a plus).
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
  • Strong photography and videography skills, with an eye for detail and composition.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and passion for developing fresh, engaging content.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) and the ability to analyze and report on data.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graphic design skills and experience with video editing software (mobile editing is sufficient).
  • Experience with drone
  • Knowledge of SEO
