Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Social Services Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our Social Services department by assisting with various administrative tasks and providing aid to individuals and families in need. Your compassion, empathy, and strong organizational skills will be crucial in helping us deliver high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities :
- Must have Social Services experience. NO EXCEPTIONS
- Assist the Social Services department in day-to-day operations, including maintaining client records, scheduling appointments, and coordinating services.
- Conduct intake interviews and assessments to gather necessary information about clients' needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with Social Workers to develop and implement personalized care plans for clients.
- Provide guidance and support to clients in accessing and navigating community resources and services.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, making necessary updates and adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Assist with crisis intervention and referrals for clients in urgent situations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, maintaining confidentiality and respecting individuals' rights.
- Assist with the organization and facilitation of support groups, workshops, and community outreach events.
- Collaborate with other team members and external agencies to promote a holistic approach to client care.
