What are the responsibilities and job description for the After-hours Receptionist position at Tennessee State Veterans Homes Board?
Responsibilities:
Greets visitors and family members and directs to appropriate location.
Answers the telephone and directs caller to the appropriate individual.
Gives directions/information to visitors; guests; family member, etc.
Ensures that guests/visitors sign in.
Takes reservations and monies for employees and visitor meals.
Reviews employment applications for completeness.
Receive, sort and distributes mail.
Prepares Admission and New Hire Packages
Check Employment References
Assists with other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must have strong computer skills.
Must possess excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
Previous Receptionist preferred.
Must be detailed oriented.
Educational Requirements :
High School Diploma
