Provide administrative assistance in Health Services.

Essential Functions
Answering phones and scheduling appointments. Responsible for patient check in and check out which includes transferring charges to student accounts in electronic medical record (EMR) system and accepting payment from staff and faculty. Compiling student immunization records and entering in EMR system and Banner. Responsible for submitting the bursar report and preparing the cash deposit. Providing holds reports for SOAR sessions. Representing Health Services for Student Orientations and other events. Assists with the creating and updating of forms used in Health Services. Distributing mail. Monitoring Health Services email account. Routing phone messages.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of related professional experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution can be substituted for experience. Knowledge of business, English, punctuation, and spelling. Skilled in making mathematical computations. Skilled using computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and database in windows.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a health services office. Experience with EMR system. Experience with Banner.
Work Hours
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Compensation And Benefits
Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Pay grade 6. Benefits Information
