Essential Functions
Serves as Office of Research and Economic Development's Web master, updating and maintaining all applicable web pages. Scans and creates PDF files and forms. Works with directors of the Office of Research and Economic Development, re-design the web for all services, compliance, pre- and post-award processes, staff and other resources for various schools and colleges, resources and information for external and internal stakeholders, information and processes for undergraduate research, research news, centers and institutes, among other things. Provide services for proposal development - edits, formats, and provides grammar assistance on external proposals by faculty as well as creates graphic designs and layouts. Creates and adjusts graphics on proposals for large proposals. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, such as English-journalism, marketing, or communications. Two years of experience in editing, graphics and design, and / or proposal development. Editing and proofreading skills and graphics and design skills. General personal interaction skills, i.e. so-called "soft skills," to include ability to present at workshops, other training and public events.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred skills include use of publishing / graphic design products and website management software, which may have been acquired through coursework or on-the-job training.
