Qualifications:

• High school diploma and certification as a licensed practical nurse
• Associates degree in Nursing preferred
• American Heart BLS & ACLS

Tennova Newport Convalescent Centeris an intermediate long-term care facility for individuals who are no longer able to care for themselves. We offer compassionate and attentive care in a safe, healing environment.Our 56-bed center features a secure, home-like atmosphere where residents can decorate their rooms with personal furniture as well as plants, special photographs, and their own blankets or quilts.

Tennova Newport Convalescent Center accommodates a wide variety of residents and offers:

• Professional nursing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week
• Rehabilitative care for residents in need of physical, occupational and/or speech therapy
• Daily menus planned and supervised by a registered dietitian
• Three nutritious meals per day prepared by the kitchen staff at Newport Medical Center
• A safe and effective method for managing residents’ medications, with a pharmacist checking for drug interactions and allergies
