Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student interaction.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Provide individualized tutoring support to students as needed, particularly in subjects such as Math.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure all students achieve their potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student development.
- Incorporate Montessori principles where applicable to promote independent learning.
- Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and fosters a love for learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques to effectively address classroom challenges.
- Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development processes.
- Ability to integrate technology into the classroom effectively for enhanced learning experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
