The Sr Tech PM will identify, plan & coordinate a set of related projects within a program, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies across Cast, Park Operations, & Retail Technology (CPOR). They will apply project management principles, practices, & techniques to lead & control project schedule, scope, quality, cost & performance risks independently, for multiple complex technology projects. The Sr Tech PM will coordinate the activities of the project team by becoming familiar w/ project scope & objectives, as well as the role & function of each team member. They will work closely w/ cross-discipline technology teams, leadership & business partners to understand & technical & business direction, milestones & budget, as well as provide leadership to project management team.


*** The Sr. Tech PM will ensure on-time delivery of the HKDL POS replacement project. This role will be critical as they are the key liaison/conduit for work happening across the point-of-sale platform, which is laying the foundation for DSP to become a long-term SaaS vendor for our international partners. For the successful execution of the project, we have planned and require a dedicated project manager to oversee financial tracking, resource planning, and the coordination of critical meetings across teams.


-POS experience, restaurant/F&B, retail, hardware or cloud migration, etc.

1) Undertakes project planning

•Identifies, plans, & coordinates a project plan, ensuring value in support of specific business strategies

•Plans the delivery of the project & its activities in accordance w/ the mission & the goals of the organization

•Develops & implements long-term goals & objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the project

•Maintains knowledge of resources & budget planning


2) Manages execution of project

•Coordinates & facilitates delivery of project objectives

•Ensures timely completion of tasks, maintaining project schedule & target dates

•Successfully assesses project risks & formulates mitigation plans, successfully develops & updates project budgets as required, & delivers successful projects in a timely & cost-efficient manner as shown by project statistics

•Leads & directs high-priority matrix objectives, which often require considerable resources & high levels of functional integration & interaction w/ project sponsors & teams

•Conducts project meetings at leadership &/or executive director levels

•Develops & manages a project change control process as needed to ensure project team operates within the scope of change approval process

•Provides input & feedback to project team members

•Identifies & evaluates the risks associated w/ project activities & takes appropriate action to mitigate the risks

•Ensures adherence to quality standards & reviews deliverables

•Tracks progress & reviews project & project activities to make certain deadlines are met appropriately

•Assesses project & project issues & identifies solutions to meet productivity, quality & customer goals


3) Prepares & executes project communication

•Ensures all project stakeholders receive orientation & appropriate training in accordance w/ organizational standards

•Communicates w/ clients & other stakeholders to gain support for the program or specific projects, & to solicit input to improve the program

•Liaises w/ managers to ensure the effective & efficient program delivery

•Conducts regular program status meetings w/ all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs & requirements continuously in view

•Works collaboratively w/ development staff & support staff to maintain thorough knowledge of capabilities, & to ensure precise communications between project teams & stakeholders

•Creates program presentations & reports for executive leadership, program sponsors & stakeholders

•Presents program status & issues to leadership through formal presentations

•Proactively communicates program status, issues & risks to management


4) Supports program/project budget

•Ensures that the project/program operates within the approved budget

•Monitors all budgeted program/project expenditures

•Ensures that all financial actuals for the program/project are up to date

•Create high level baseline forecast

•Works w/ IT Project Controllers to monitor budget expenditures


5) Provides team mentoring & continues professional development

•Mentors junior/mid levels of PMs regarding all aspects of the project life cycle & project management discipline

•Continues professional development through attendance at meetings, professional seminars & conferences

6) Supports CPOR Program/Project Management Office initiatives

•Effectively prepares & presents technical &/or educational documentation of assigned projects to enhance the knowledge project team members

•Continues professional development through attendance at meetings, professional seminars & conferences

•Support leadership of project management team & helps define strategic direction of project management functions


****Seeking a self-starter! This individual will need to be proactive and require limited handholding. The Sr. Tech PM will liase with domestic POS teams and Hong Kong POS teams. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must!


***This role will also require a flexible and adjustable schedule to accommodate project needs, as there will be calls/meetings required with the international teams.


**A Sr. Technical PM who has a background in scrum and sprint planning but has developed into a full PM that can manage budgets, forecasting v. actuals, etc. will succeed in this role.


• 4 years of technical program and project management experience working with technical teams developing enterprise class solutions

• Technical project management expertise for a global or national brand(s), working closely with technology, creative and user experience teams

• Hands-on experience with practices such as Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall as well as extensive experience with pragmatic blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery

• Ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of projects

• Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills with attention to detail

• Experience with Agile Application Lifecycle Management and development tools like JIRA, Confluence Wiki

• Understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD)

• Experience with budget tracking and complex cost-benefit analysis

• Experience managing and prioritizing projects within the program and working seamlessly with various teams and stakeholders in a matrix organization

• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment


Preferred Qualifications Preferred

• Project management experience with customer-facing digital and/or mobile products

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

• Agile Certifications (CSM; ACP; CSPO; SAFe; LeSS)
