π οΈ About the Role:
Our client, a globally recognized enterprise IT Consulting firm, is seeking an Onsite HelpDesk Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support at a client location in New York City. This is a long-term contract position supporting a high-profile client in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
You'll be the go-to technical resource for resolving end-user issues, maintaining Windows and Microsoft environments, supporting mobile devices, and ensuring smooth functionality of conference rooms and AV systems.
π§° Tech Environment Youβll Be Working With:
- Microsoft Technologies: Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016β2022, Microsoft 365
- Cloud & Identity: Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, Group Policy
- Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive
- Device Support: Apple iOS, Android, laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers
- AV & Conferencing: Teams Rooms, Zoom, AV setups, projectors, and speakerphones
- Ticketing Systems: ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM platforms
π― Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 onsite support to enterprise users at the NYC client location
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, O365, hardware, and mobile devices
- Manage user accounts via Active Directory and Azure AD
- Configure and support laptops, desktops, printers, and other end-user equipment
- Provide hands-on AV support for conference rooms and meeting setups
- Apply Group Policies and ensure endpoint compliance
- Log, manage, and resolve tickets within established SLAs
- Collaborate with internal IT teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades
β Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 3 years of HelpDesk or Desktop Support experience in an enterprise environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including O365, AD, and Windows OS
- Experience with Azure AD and Group Policy management
- Proficiency in supporting iOS and Android mobile devices
- Hands-on experience with AV/Conference room technologies (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Excellent customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in IT consulting or MSP environments is a plus
