HR Generalist - Germany & Switzerland
Hybrid Role, based out of Germany
At Tenthpin we are seeking a talented, client-facing, and collaborative HR Generalist - Germany & Switzerland to join our HR team. The succesful applicant will possess strong hands-on experience and will have a passion for delivering an outstanding People Experience and HR Services to our workforce in multiple countries, contributing to our reputation as one of the recent success stories within the Management Consulting Industry.
The Opportunity
As an HR Generalist - Germany & Switzerland you will operationally and strategically align HR with business objectives. This involves accurate HR administration and HR Services as well as direct collaboration with the client group as the client’s trusted advisor.
The role will include but not be limited to:
- Be the “one-stop-shop” destination for employees and managers in the respective countries.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing expert guidance on HR matters and engage and support employees along the HR lifecycle.
- Contribute to manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Steer and communicate with external service providers (e.g. payroll providers, insurance providers).
- Ensure compliance with German and Swiss labour legislation and other applicable regulations.
- Support in HR projects in order to support our growth story
- Participate in on-site events and office days on a regular basis.
- Thrive in a diverse environment, seamlessly working within multi-language, multicultural, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Your Experience
First and foremost, you are a genuine HR Generalist with international experience, exceptional communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and a collaborative approach to creating exceptional solutions, including:
- A minimum of 4–6 years of experience in a medium-sized consulting or technology-driven environment.
- Hands-on HR support experience with the countries Germany & Switzerland is a must.
- Strong understanding of payroll and HR Operations topics.
- Experience with HR software (Personio would be a plus).
- A true ‘all-rounder’ who can be equally effective in a wide generalist range of HR topics.
- Ability to effectively deal with diverse topics and manage multiple subject areas.
- Business fluent or native level in English and German.
