The Opportunity
As an SAP Solution Manager, you will play a pivotal role in taking part in end-to-end SAP and digital transformation projects within the life sciences domain. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the successful delivery of complex solutions. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in driving client satisfaction, project success, and contributing to the continued growth of Tenthpin.
The role will include but not be limited to:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP Solution Manager systems, including end-to-end technical setups, system enhancements etc.
- Act as Release Manager coordinating system changes from development to production environments.
- Manage SAP operations, including system landscape information, IT task management, GPA, template management, and test management activities.
- Lead and deliver projects, coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure success.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights into the technical SAP environment landscape.
- Collaborate in multicultural, multi-disciplinary environments.
Your Experience
First and foremost, you are a genuine SAP Solution Manager Consultant with exceptional communication skills, the ability to see the bigger picture, and a collaborative approach to creating exceptional solutions. You will also have relevant SAP skills, including:
- Minimum 7 years of experience with SAP Solution Manager, including technical configuration and operation of version 7.2.
- Proficiency in BPM design and BPMN tools.
- Expertise in SAP Solution Manager features such as:
1. Focused Build
o Release Management, release creation and landscape creation/change
o Requirements Management
o Solution Documentation/BPML Management including setup of custom fields
o Strong understanding of Work Packages/Work Items
2. CHARM: Change Request Management
o Understanding of Incident Management and how we use CHARM to support Run Tracks
o Knowledge on to enhance the CHARM tool with custom fields
o Deep understanding of the Retrofit Cockpit and the enablement/usage of CHARM in the retrofit process retrofit from Run Track into Project Tracks or even between Project tracks.
3. Business Process Monitoring, Test Management, Job Scheduling Management
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM and transition from SAP Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM is advantageous
- Knowledge of SAP Signavio connection to either SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM is advantageous
- Ability to speak with IT counterparts and advise them on the technical SAP environment landscape.
- Excellent documentation skills for configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of the environment.
- A proven track record in a ‘Big 4’, Major ‘SI’, or specialist SAP Consulting Firm would be preferred.
- Experience in Life Sciences, or process manufacturing industries, particularly in sectors such as pharmaceutical, medical devices, medical manufacturing and chemicals, would be advantageous.
