Hybrid role* 20 hours/ week (Remote/ on-site), Germany

The opportunity:
As a Working Student (AI/ ML) for Tenthpin Solutions, you will be part of the Tenthpin Solutions team, providing first-line product development promptly and professionally to our prestigious life sciences clients.

What you will be doing:

• Developing AI/ML Models: Design, implement, and optimize machine learning algorithms utilized in our products.
• Data preprocessing and feature Engineering: Clean, normalize, and extract features from complex datasets to enhance model performance.
• Integration with Software Products: Collaborate with product development team to seamlessly integrate AI/ML functionalities into our products.
• Model evaluation and quality assurance: Assess model performance and robustness through rigorous evaluation and quality assurance processes.
• Drive internal initiatives: Develop and implement ways for us to utilize AI/ML in our daily work.
• Documentation and reporting: Thoroughly document work, prepare reports, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

What you bring with you:

• You are passionate about developing deep understanding and expertise for our custom build solutions for life science industry.
• You understand fundamental ML concepts such as supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and model evaluation and have ideally already applied them in software development.
• You have enthusiasm for innovation in artificial intelligence and machine learning field and want to explore how to leverage and apply AI/ML technologies in daily work.
• You have basic knowledge in in at least one programming language commonly used in AI/ML development, such as Python or R.
• You are attentive to detail and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are proactive, you value collaboration & teamwork and you communicate excellently.
• Basic understanding of Agile Development practices is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SAP is a plus, especially in the SAP AI domain.
• Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus.
