They are seeking a Data Engineer to join their growing team and play a critical role in building scalable data solutions to support their data initiatives.
This is a hybrid role, with a strong preference for candidates located in the DMV area who can collaborate in their Baltimore office 2–3 times per month.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and robust data architectures to support data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
- Build and optimize data models for efficient curation, storage, and retrieval to align with transactional systems and support analytics initiatives.
- Implement and monitor data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure data quality, integrity, and high availability.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Work on high-level architecture projects involving a system of intelligence, data lake, data warehouse, and future AI/ML initiatives.
- Support and enhance customer-facing analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Stay updated on emerging data technologies and continuously improve data engineering practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (mandatory).
- 4–7 years of professional experience in data engineering and software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C#, R, or KQL.
- Strong experience with Azure-based data tools and infrastructure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing solutions.
- Proficiency with SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Authorized to work in the United States (U.S. citizens or Green Card holders only).
- Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark).
- Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
- Familiarity with real-time data processing and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
