This individual will be deeply involved in managing complex, cross-functional projects and ensuring timely and organized delivery by collaborating closely with stakeholders in marketing, technology, finance, legal, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a large-scale enterprise project that involves multiple business lines and executive stakeholders.
- Own and manage weekly project status updates, including creating polished presentation decks for senior and executive leadership (SVP and EVP level).
- Coordinate across departments to drive alignment, gather updates, and ensure the project stays on track.
- Serve as a critical liaison between marketing, tech, and business teams to help shape the narrative and ensure consistency in messaging.
- Prepare concise, impactful PowerPoint presentations that summarize project progress, risks, and next steps for various stakeholder audiences.
- Maintain detailed tracking of deliverables, timelines, and ownership across concurrent workstreams.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders to support the delivery of key strategic initiatives.
- Support additional projects (2–4 in total) beyond the core enterprise initiative.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within large, matrixed environments.
- Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups including senior leadership, finance, legal, marketing, and technology.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint—must be able to summarize complex updates clearly and visually for leadership presentations.
- Solid working knowledge of Excel for tracking, timelines, and basic organization (not analysis-heavy).
- Background in financial services or banking is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives is essential.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with the ability to influence and align teams.
- Proactive, organized, and assertive—knows when to push for consensus but is not passive.
- Comfortable managing up and interacting with executives and senior leadership.
- Highly collaborative, yet able to work independently and drive accountability across the organization.
- Role is hybrid, with four days in-office expected and Fridays remote (subject to change depending on meeting schedules).
- Initial project is expected to last 6 months minimum, with potential for extension or transition into additional enterprise projects.
- Location: 4 days on-site in Tysons Corner, VA (Sometimes 5)
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
