Cloud Engineer
Our client, a Fortune 100 Credit Union, is looking to bring on a Cloud Engineer to join their team on a HYBRID schedule (2 days per week onsite is a requirement). They're open to any of the following locations : Pensacola, FL, Winchester, VA or their Vienna, VA campus. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to any of the locations previously listed.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without a sponsoring employer indefinitely. At this time, we can only accept US Citizens, GC Holders, GC EADs, TN Visas. This is a W2 Contract- We CAN NOT do C2C arrangements.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as a subject matter expert in distributed and cloud technologies.
- Ensure proper considerations are applied to sizing and performance metrics for the new cloud banking core.
- Lead efforts to implement cloud-based models such as PaaS and SaaS applications, preferably on Oracle Cloud and / or Azure.
- Administer and configure SaaS platforms following security best practices.
- Provide on-call support for production operations as needed.
- Manage cloud administration tasks across SaaS and PaaS layers.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect cloud data and identities in compliance with PCI standards.
- Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and scale resources as needed.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy application integrations within Cloud SaaS / PaaS layers.
- Develop APIs, interfaces, and web services to support application integration.
- Create automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud provisioning, monitoring, and management tasks.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Resource Manager.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, application development, and testing teams, to achieve business goals.
