- Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and recognize and reward team achievements.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum strategy aligned with Metrc’s goals and objectives.
- Create a structured and cohesive training program that addresses the learning needs of our new employees and customers.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to align training content with product updates and releases.
- Liaise with the Support team to identify common challenges and incorporate solutions into training materials.
- Determine the scope and sequence of training content, ensuring logical progression and effectiveness.
- Organize training materials to maximize engagement, retention, and practical application of knowledge.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Continuously update and enhance training content to reflect industry best practices and evolving business needs.
- Maintain in-depth working knowledge of?Metrc system
- Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with customers.?
- Assist with budget forecasting/monitoring for the service and training department
- Manage travel and expenses budget for service and training organization
QUALIFICATIONS- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or training management.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage remote employees.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools is a plus.
- Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience creating service offerings associated with software as a service (SaaS), maintenance agreements, and big data
- Experience in budgetary development and oversight experience. Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
- Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment
- Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization while looking at situations from several points of view
- Cannabis industry experience a plus
