Presales Solution Architect - Data Center and Hybrid IT services is responsible for driving and co owning Data Center solution sales, business development and marketing activities across North America. This role will work closely with North America sales team, virtual teams for Center of Excellence, Technology alliances, field services partners and will require travel for pursuits. Presales Solution Architect will have technical ability and market understanding to bring out best of emerging technologies and customers' requirements to valuable juncture. The Solution Architect will be required to maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge across a broad set of foundational technologies as well as at least one specific technology set to serve as the subject matter expert for that specific subject on a national and / or global scale.

Data Center & Hybrid IT services solutions includes a focus on technologies inclusive of Data Center management, storage, middleware, command center, cognitive technologies, automation, hyper converged infrastructure, SDDC, next gen platform for cloud stacks, cloud migration services, hypervisors, sys admin solutions, active directory, compute platforms. Work with OEM and field services partners for best in class market leading solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Be a leader in technology services solution sales, be agile to accommodate ever changing sales pursuit requirements
- Next gen technology sales for data center services in Hybrid IT scenarios.
- Demonstrate value through articulating solution as a differentiator
- Create business case, ROI based solutions involving global data center, distributed infrastructure, COLO providers, cloud and other parties.
- Collaborate and lead solution prep along with geographically distributed teams to achieve winning solution
- Comply for sales pursuit and timelines for timely closing agreed action items, proactively review solutions and third party components
- Achieve great working relationships with Analyst, OEM sales and Field services partners, for quick turnaround in time of need
- Travel to customer locations for solution defense and other proactive meetings, Travel 70% is expected
- 10 years of experience in respective field of data center service operations, sales and consulting
- Be assertive in creating a winning solution which is commercially acceptable, aligned to customer demands and provides sales target achievement.
Technical Experience
Qualifications : Graduates
Computer Science background preferred
