Full Job Description
We are in search of a lead Installation Technician who will become a strong contributor and make a difference. In the Installation Technician role, you will be working with a crew to install residential solar systems in a timely manner. **This position has room to grow and make more money in the future**
Key Job Duties:
- Work with a team to install the racking system and solar panels on residential roofs
- Maintain a high quality of installation
- Prepare trucks for installs in the upcoming day making sure everything is neat and organized
- Service the solar system as needed
- Clean and prepare trucks at the end of the day to ensure that the vehicle is ready for the next day’s use
- Occasional work in the warehouse organizing equipment
- Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Tephra Solar standards
- Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership
Necessary Skills and Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of solar installation, construction and/or roofing
- Ability to work well with others that are on your team
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to keep a positive attitude
- Ability to be comfortable being and working on roofs
- 1 to 2 years experience installing residential solar systems required
