- Lead team of developers for creating solution using Opcenter FN / DS modules
- Configuring & Developing software to fix errors, adapt it to customer requirements, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Directing system testing and validation procedures.
- Directing software programming and documentation development.
- Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals.
- Working with customers or departments on technical issues including system design and maintenance.
- Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems.
- Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces.
- Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.Qualifications :
- Design, Configurations & Development using Opcenter EX FN / EX DS, Siemens Digital Logistics and Opcenter Intraplant Logistics
- Hands on experience of Opcenter EX FN / EX DS 3.3 onwards
- Must be knowledgeable in both front end and back-end development and understand concepts of software engineering in the Opcenter Modules.
- Must have solid skills in Visual Studio, MVC paradigm, , Rest API, OData protocols and C / C# programming.
- Must have knowledge of the various OOTB Apps and their usage.
- Experience using Mendix for UI
- Good understanding of shop floor systems integration
- Domain knowledge in manufacturing and / or supply chain.
- In depth product knowledge of Siemens Opcenter Foundation and Opcenter Execution Discrete
- Experience Leading 1-3 Siemens Opcenter MES implementations
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide solution using OOTB product features to minimize customization.
- Ability to convince customer for alternate approach if proposed approach leads to heavy custom solution.
- Expertise in writing SQL stored procedures
- Unit testing, Functional testing, Integration testing
- Deployment and UAT & Go-Live Support
- Application Maintenance, Support and Enhancements
- Technical Documentation
- Test Case Documentation
