Job Description:
The Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, enhancing guest experiences, and managing team schedules. This position works closely with the Regional Manager to support both store operations and team member development.
Example of Duties (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
- Assist the Regional Manager in achieving sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Train staff to enhance product knowledge and customer service excellence.
- Create and manage team member schedules.
- Ensure consistent implementation of marketing strategies and visual presentation standards.
- Maintain daily safety and compliance with Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) regulations.
- Uphold company policies and report any issues to senior management.
- Conduct timesheet audits to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Participate in daily Manager on Duty responsibilities.
- Help with cash drop reconciliations when necessary.
- Assist with courier pick-ups and accurately document cash transactions.
- Provide top-notch customer service, resolving complaints as needed.
- Build lasting relationships with team members and customers.
- Identify and address any service operation deficiencies.
- Maintain high standards set by the Regional Manager and communicate any personnel issues effectively.
- Open and close the store, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager.
- Ensure daily inventory audits are completed, investigating any discrepancies and reporting them.
Performance Requirement, Skills and Abilities
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Reliable and dependable; must have reliable transportation.
- Must be familiar with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
- 50 hours/ week minimum.
- Full open availability required.
Education/Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role or higher. Familiarity with state and local compliance laws is preferred.
Typical Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift, and carry items up to 30 lbs.
- Exposure to cleaning agents and other workplace materials.
Typical Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a retail location, warehouse, in a motor vehicle and at the homes of delivery customer.
- The work environment may be very loud, fluctuating between extreme cold and hot temperatures. Involves frequent contact with staff and the public.
- Work may be stressful at times and may include dealing and difficult members and or law enforcement.
