Role Description
As a Real Estate Finance Analyst, you will be expected to support the Real Estate and Development Teams on acquisition opportunities and development projects. Your role will include building and running underwriting models to assess the financial viability of EV charging hub projects as well as the ongoing development of these sites. The role will also include ownership of investment committee memos and materials. The ability to work independently and as a team member are critical, as well as the desire and innovative mindset to operate as an important contributor within a fast-paced, early-stage company environment. This role will report to the Vice President of Real Estate Acquisitions and Strategy.
\n- Support in the evaluation of investment opportunities
- Own underwriting process to evaluate financial viability of acquisition opportunities
- Support the creation of Investment Committee materials
- Support market research efforts, comps, and tax underwriting
- Assist in due diligence for property acquisitions and dispositions
- Maintain databases of market and property data
- Coordinate with policy & incentives, energy and finance teams to incorporate federal, state and local incentives for EV charging and other energy assets into the underwriting models
- 2 years' experience in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree required ideally within a financial discipline
- Advanced modeling skillset
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to work internally with multiple internal stakeholders and groups
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong leadership and communication
