Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for children. You will be responsible for supervising campers, leading activities, and fostering an inclusive atmosphere that encourages personal growth and teamwork.
Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during various activities and outings.
- Plan and lead engaging programs that promote learning, creativity, and physical activity.
- Educate campers on important skills such as teamwork, respect, and responsibility.
- Provide support to children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance.
- Facilitate sports coaching sessions and organize games to promote physical fitness.
- Maintain open communication with campers, parents, and fellow staff members regarding camper progress and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure all health protocols are followed.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of camp activities to maintain a clean environment.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experiences:
- Previous experience in childcare or working with children in a camp or daycare setting.
- Background in special education or experience working with students who have diverse needs is highly valued.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Experience in babysitting or coaching sports is a plus.
- A passion for outdoor activities, education, and fostering a positive camp culture.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
