Job Description:
The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and participating in various human resources management functions at the Watertown manufacturing site. This includes coordinating recruitment and selection of new team members, providing general team member communications, policy deployment, salary and benefits administration, recognition programs, and training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to leadership on policies, practices, laws, and regulations to achieve business objectives while ensuring compliance with local and governmental requirements.
- Responsible for Team Member Relations, including coaching, discipline, team member communications, policy deployment, salary and benefits administration, and recognition programs.
- Oversee day-to-day recruitment needs, provide support and guidance, and build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand current and future recruitment and training needs.
- Provide guidance on talent and development processes to facilitate team member development and training compliance.
- Drive and support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) practices and planning, aligning the site's vision with Terex's overall diversity initiatives.
- Champion the onboarding process to ensure it is high-quality and up-to-date, and provide clarity and connection for team members to serve the overall business vision.
- Support business stakeholders in driving organizational change to meet future business needs, as well as supporting succession planning to develop best talent.
- Assist team members with day-to-day questions regarding benefits and other company HR programs.
- Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives and instill HR practices/processes that add value.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with business partners across the site to create a collaborative approach to people-related initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5 years of human resources experience administering a complete array of human resources management programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual English-Spanish is mandatory.
- Experience in manufacturing plant preferred.
- Adept problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance with EEOC, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, FLSA, and other state or federal laws.
- PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience with in-house recruitment systems HR Information Systems may be advantageous.
- Ability to work as part of a flexible HR team, prioritize workload, and complete tasks and objectives in a timely manner.
