Tergar International is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that develops and delivers Tergar programs, in partnership with our sister organization Tergar Asia. Tergar International is based in the United States of America in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minnesota, with a staff of nearly 50 employees and core contractors who work in various locations around the world.
Job Description: The Experienced UX Designer is responsible for creating exceptional, user-centered digital experiences through the conceptualization, design, and development of intuitive and engaging interfaces. This professional will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to understand user needs and translate them into visual and functional solutions that enhance usability and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
User Experience Design:
- Create efficient and logical user flows that guide users through complex processes.
- Design high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes that communicate the structure and functionality of the interfaces.
User Interface Design:
- Develop visually appealing, consistent, and high-quality interfaces.
- Select and apply appropriate brand color palettes, typography, and design styles.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineers, business analysts, and other team members to ensure successful implementation of designs.
Maintenance and Continuous Improvement:
- Supervise the implementation of designs and ensure quality and consistency are maintained.
- Identify areas for improvement in existing products and propose solutions.
Mentoring:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and practices in UX design and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, User Experience Design, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in interface design and user experience, preferably at least 3 years.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to solve design problems and create intuitive solutions.
- Profound knowledge of design tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
- Familiarity with user-centered design principles and research methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and defend design decisions.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to changes in an agile environment.
