We’re seeking for a Residential Program Manager to join our TERI team!
The Residential Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of a 6-bed (ICF/DD-H) group home for developmentally disabled adults. This is a direct care position responsible for the care and supervision of program clients and includes administrative functions specific to the operation of the house and assisting in the training of program staff. Duties include Active Treatment, Behavior Modification, BEST, CPR and 1st aid in accordance with the individual education and program plans.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES –
- Assist individuals with self-care and activities of daily living.
- Provide appropriate level of support such as making meals, shopping, assist individual with laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized home.
- Participate in staff meetings, progress reviews, in-service training, and other meetings.
- Assist with interventions designed to protect individuals who engage in severe problem behavior and those around them.
- Administer and document client’s medications and provide necessary medical/first aid treatment as indicated by nursing stuff.
- Immediately reports any concerns related to individual’s personal safety, facility safety and effectiveness, program material needs, and personal care/daily living needs.
- Protects individual rights, safety, welfare, and health at all times for those we serve.
QUALIFICATIONS –
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred Associate of Arts
- One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination in in with special needs and experience working with adults in vocational or volunteer settings preferred
- Must have a two-years clean driving record.
- Must have personal mode of transportation.
Salary Range –
$19.00-$20.00 Hourly
Position Status –
Full-Time
Schedule –
Monday to Friday
Split Shift: 6:30am to 8:30am and 3:30pm to 9:00pm
Locations: Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, Fabrook, and San Marcos.
