Residential Production Director

Job Title: Residential Production Director
Reports to: Residential Regional Manager

Job Duties:

• Oversee and manage all Residential Project
• Manage, ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and implement company-wide production strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinates with sales, estimating, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution across all residential roofing projects.
• Ensures resource availability and allocation on a macro level, optimizing workforce and equipment utilization across all projects.
• Develops and maintains company-wide project management standards and best practices.
• Implements and oversees quality control measures across all projects.
• Manages relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and high-level vendors/subcontractors.
• Analyzes project performance data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies across all projects.
• Develops and manages the production department budget.
• Provides leadership, mentoring, and training to Project Managers and other production staff.
• Serves as escalation point for project-related issues and makes critical decisions when necessary.
• Oversees and approves project documentation and reporting standards.
• Collaborates with HR to recruit, hire, and retain top talent for the production team.
• Stays current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain the company's competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 7 years of experience in residential roofing, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is primarily performed in an office environment but requires the ability to visit job sites regularly.
• Physically capable of navigating construction sites, including climbing ladders and walking on roofs when necessary.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 75lbs occasionally.
• Full range of motion.
