Construction Safety Director

Terra Site Constructors, LLC, dba Terra Constructs, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Director to oversee and enhance the company’s safety program. This role will be crucial in implementing safety policies, ensuring compliance, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization. The Safety Director will collaborate with project teams and leadership to ensure all safety initiatives align with company goals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Policy Implementation : Assist in the development and implementation of Company Safety policies and practices.
• Program Management : Manage and continuously improve project-specific safety programs to align with industry standards and company objectives.
• Training Coordination : Conduct and coordinate safety training programs for all employees, ensuring ongoing education and compliance.
• Preplanning Support : Participate in project preplanning sessions, providing safety-related advice to project teams.
• Incident Management : Investigate accidents and / or injuries, ensuring thorough documentation and implementation of preventive measures.
• Safety Audits : Conduct regular Safety audits on projects to identify, document, and recommend solutions to hazardous or unsafe work conditions.
• Employee Well-being : Manage cases involving injured employees, coordinating with medical providers to ensure appropriate treatment and facilitate return-to-work plans.
• Performance Monitoring : Monitor safety performance across the organization, identify areas for improvement, and address safety issues.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with the safety team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
