We are hiring for a Project Accountant to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly loan draw preparation for assigned projects.
- Compile supporting documentation required for loan draws.
- Prepare bank and other Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations.
- Payment Applications (AIA) tracking & reconciliation including retainage tracking.
- Review commitment report.
- Prepare Journal Entries for review.
- Record all manual payments - wires, E-checks and Online Payments.
- Letter of Credit Interest and Reconciliation.
- Recording of wires and checks received.
- Track cash balances – GL.
- Upload/Review invoices in Yardi.
- Coding of invoices – Job Cost coding.
- Track all vendor lien releases, including GC lower tier (Prepare Designers & Professional Lien Releases in exchange with Payment).
- Record accrued interest schedules.
- Track purchaser deposits.
- Update master utility schedule.
- Assist with tangible personal property tax returns.
- Compiling information needed for preparation of year-end tax prep files.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Yardi experience a plus.
- Developer or construction experience, preferred
