Terra Energy is seeking a Sales Support Specialist who will play a crucial role in our sales verification process, ensuring customer folios are fully accurate and complete before transitioning from Sales to Design & Engineering. This role is responsible for reviewing, approving, and resolving missing or incorrect information by working directly with customers, internal teams, public records, and other resources.

Job Description
Terra Energy is seeking a Sales Support Specialist who will play a crucial role in our sales verification process, ensuring customer folios are fully accurate and complete before transitioning from Sales to Design & Engineering. This role is responsible for reviewing, approving, and resolving missing or incorrect information by working directly with customers, internal teams, public records, and other resources.
Key Responsibilities
- File Review & Approval: Conduct a thorough review of customer files prepared by closers. Approve or correct them before they proceed to Design & Engineering.
- Customer & Information Verification: Obtain or clarify missing information from customers, internal departments, and public records to ensure all data is accurate and complete.
- System Sizing & Placement: Work with closers to confirm appropriate system sizing and layout, sometimes in real-time with urgency.
- Permitting & Compliance: Ensure all necessary permits and HOA approvals are acquired and meet local requirements.
- Interconnection & Payment Readiness: Confirm that all required documents are in place for utility interconnection and customer payment processing.
- Site Assessment Coordination: Liaise site surveys with Inspectify to confirm site assessments are completed and uploaded for our Operations team.
- Problem Resolution & Ticket Management: Identify and resolve post-sale issues related to documentation, permitting, and system placement, ensuring smooth progress.
- Internal Communication & Handoff: Collaborate with closers, engineers, and other internal teams to facilitate a seamless transition from Sales to Operations.
- Training & Process Optimization: Help refine processes, clarify responsibilities, and improve documentation standards.
- Highly organized, diligent, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and urgency .
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in sales support, permitting, interconnection, or public records research is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and ticketing systems preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
