Job Overview
The Senior Manager of Business Development will lead the development of new partnerships for TerraCycle’s Regulated Waste team in the Americas by initiating and maintaining a dialogue around TerraCycle’s offerings with marketing and sustainability stakeholders across industries and brands as well as managing and growing a team of Business Development Managers and Associates.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of high-volume transactional sales associates to ensure they are performing to the KPIs set forth by the commercial business leaders (VP and GM)
- Work with senior team members to assist in scheduling high-level meetings and business development activities
- Working closely with VP to train associate-level sales to develop consultative sales skills with a focus on outreach and high-volume pipeline management
- Support associates as they build, maintain, and effectively manage a healthy sales pipeline of new business opportunities to deliver on ambitious growth targets
- Develop and deliver client-specific presentations
- Secure new business development partnerships for our service offerings
- Work with new partners on pricing and finalization of contracts
Requirements:

- 3-5 years relevant sales experience
- Experience managing a sales team
- Excellent writing, and communication skills
- Project management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from outreach to close
- Ability to work well in fast-paced service driven sales environment
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a team in the United States
- Attention to detail
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint & Excel
- An entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude that embraces challenges and change

- A creative mind with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
