We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape/Hardscape Foreperson to lead and oversee our growing team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both landscaping and hardscape installations, combined with excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew of up to 6 team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee the installation of landscape and hardscape projects, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship.
- Manage field activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and on-site supervision.
- Read and interpret project drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with designers, project managers, and clients.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and supervise project efficiency and workmanship.
- Maintain TerraGreen’s high standards for quality, safety, and integrity.
- Train and manage crew members, emphasizing adherence to safety procedures and best practices.
- Use a software app to track and report daily activities.
- Operate vehicles and equipment, including a dump truck, trailers, mini excavators, skid steers, and mini skid steers.
- Consult with clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising landscape or hardscape installation crews.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in operating a 3500 dump truck, loading and pulling trailers.
- Skilled in operating mini excavators, skid steers, and other related equipment.
- Strong work ethic, motivation, and ability to lead by example.
- Excellent supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience with project planning, team leadership, and client consultations.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $25 to $35 per hour (based on experience)
