What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at TerraMai?
We are a local green manufacturer who specializes in reclaimed woods. We locally and globally source domestic and exotic materials and reinvigorate them in our fully equipped production facility into flooring, paneling, siding, decking, tables and other surfaces. Our products often are featured in the work of acclaimed architects and designers across the United States.
We are looking for an individual who is excited to participate in the creation of sustainable products, participate in the development of new products and build custom pieces for our residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate would have a high attention to detail and experience in solid wood manufacturing. We have a growing production team and it is important to be able to collaborate with all leads and supervisors to get projects done safely, timely and in high quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work within a team and occasionally on their own.
- Bring attention to safety and quality concerns.
- Full time M-Th, 6-4:30 plus necessary overtime on Fridays.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with woodworking equipment including Planers, Re-saws, rip saws, chop saws and hand tools required.
- Excellent problem solving skills, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
- Must be able to offer overtime and weekend work as needed.
Compensation:
- Range is $18 to $20 an hour DOE
