Job Description
- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef who can supervise, coordinate, and participate in activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel engaged in preparing and cooking foods.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Main Responsibilities
- Assisting in creating and implementing menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Contributing to the development of new recipes and menu items that showcase our culinary expertise.
- Maintaining accurate records of food costs, inventory levels, and menu pricing.
- Ensuring that all kitchen staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in an upscale restaurant, hotel, resort, or club environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
