What You Will Do
As a Snow Removal Crew Leader, you will be responsible for making visits to commercial and residential properties to provide necessary snow and ice services to ensure that they are maintained to company standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining roadways, drive lanes, parking lots, etc. of customer accounts after a snowstorm. You will also be responsible for:
- Overseeing snow removal crew operations
- Communicating effectively with management, crew members and customers
- Notifying management of issues needing attention on customer properties
- Familiarizing yourself with snow removal equipment
- Using all snow removal equipment appropriately and effectively
- Keeping accurate records of snow depth, work times, etc.
- Working in conjunction with snow crews to ensure that all jobs are completed and meet company standards
- Working long hours during the night and into the next day to complete assigned routes
- Remaining available and on call to receive specific instructions related to start time and job route
Requirements
Snow removal experience is preferred, but not required. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record with the ability to be added to the company’s insurance policy. Applicants should also be able to maintain a flexible schedule and be available to work whenever it snows. Our ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications/traits:
