What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mowing, Shredding, and Land Clearing Ground Hand position at TerraSol LLC?
TerraSol LLC is a small, family owned company based out of Taylor, Texas. We perform work in the vegetation maintenance sector. Work scopes include but not limited to : Large acreage shredding with batwing shredders and mowing with zero turns, weed-eating, mechanical and hand clearing of brush, trees, and other undesired vegetation, herbicide applications, fertilizer applications, etc.
Responsibilities of a Laborer / Hand will include:
- Running hand tools such as a weed-eater or chainsaw on multiple projects to assist with the removal of undesired vegetation.
- operating smaller equipment types such as a zero turn mower.
- operation of company owned vehicles on public roads to assist with transportation.
- Assisting fellow employees with different responsibilities and skills to have a satisfactory completion of a project.
Applicant must have prior experience working in a vegetation maintenance setting.
Applicant must be willing to travel (lodging and transportation paid by company) in peak growing season times. This position is a traveling position. Applicant should expect on the road travel from 50% of the year. Regular away schedules are Monday to Friday home on weekends.
Applicant will need to undergo a background check and drug test prior to starting date.
Applicant will need to commute daily to Taylor. Jobsite locations vary.
Applicant will assist company in other fields of work as needed.
