Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Planner with a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience planning and executing high-end events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full event planning cycle, from initial client consultation to day-of execution and post-event follow-up.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget, translating ideas into seamless events.
Coordinate with in-house and external vendors (catering, décor, entertainment, A/V, etc.) to ensure flawless execution.
Develop detailed timelines, floor plans, and event logistics.
Supervise event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements meet Terrazas at Lyfe’s standards.
Handle client communication, problem-solving, and on-site management during events.
Maintain strong knowledge of trends in event design, hospitality, and customer service.
Support marketing efforts by contributing ideas for promotional events and attending networking opportunities.
Requirements:
3 years of professional experience in event planning, preferably in the hospitality or luxury venue space.
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality, client-focused events.
Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
A positive, energetic attitude and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree or certification in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
Familiarity with the South Florida market and vendor network.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
